Challah for Hunger

Bradley University’s Challah for Hunger chapter is a student-run organization that both raises awareness of hunger as a problem in the Peoria community, and money to help with hunger relief. Each week, students gather at the Bradley University Hillel House to bake challot, which are then sold to students and members of the Peoria community.  The bakers feature a creative new flavor every week.

The goal of Challah for Hunger is to provide opportunities for students to gain business and leadership experience while helping the surrounding community. Half of the proceeds support the program, and we donate half of our proceeds to the Peoria Area Food Bank.

Pickup can be made at Bradley Hillel or Anshai Emeth on Fridays.
